Suspiro is Brazilian meringue cookie recipe.
- 4 egg whites
- 8 tbsp sugar
- Beat the egg whites until almost hard and add, while still beating, the sugar little by little.
- Use a tbsp to drop spoons of the mix onto a baking sheet at least two inches apart.
- Bake in a preheated oven (at low heat) for one hour. Do not open the oven.
- They should be golden, crispy on the outside and somewhat soft inside.
